A short walk from the south exit of Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Founded in 1936, Nogata Shokudo is a set meal restaurant that has been loved by local residents for three generations.

The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere that is typical of a Showa-era diner, and a reliable taste that incorporates kappo (Japanese cooking) techniques. At lunchtime, the restaurant is crowded with regular customers and businessmen from the neighborhood, and at night it is filled with smiling faces of people enjoying a small drink with a la carte dishes.

It is especially crowded from 12:00 to 13:00, but the turnover is quick.
