Yakitori Omoriya Nogata|At-home izakaya featuring charcoal-grilled yakitori and clay pot rice

Yakitori Omoriya Nogata|Authentic charcoal-grilled yakitori with a focus on ingredients, charcoal, and space

A 2-minute walk from Nogata Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line. Yakitori Omoriya Nogata Branch is a community-based izakaya that focuses on authentic charcoal-grilled yakitori (grilled chicken) priced from 150 yen per piece and other dishes made with the finest ingredients and techniques. In addition to yakitori, the restaurant also serves earthenware pot rice, soba noodles, and a variety of other dishes. The space is suitable for a wide range of occasions, from drinking alone at the counter to family dinners and drinking parties with friends.

Hand-prepared Yakitori|Mizakura Chicken & Asajime Pork

All of our yakitori is prepared by hand. Our staff carefully skewer each piece of chicken every day, using flavorful Misakura chicken and fresh pork from the morning. We are particular about the cooking of each part of the chicken to maximize the aroma of the charcoal and the juiciness of the meat.

Secret sauce and grilled seaweed salt

For tare-yaki, we use our secret sauce, which we have continued to add to the sauce since the opening of the restaurant. The sweet and rich taste enhances the flavor of the yakitori. For salted yakitori, we use a special salt made by grilling seaweed salt. It is characterized by its mild and deep flavor.

Binchotan, an essential charcoal for charcoal grilling

In our grilling area, we use high-grade Tosa binchotan charcoal. The far-infrared rays slowly heat the meat, making it fragrant on the surface and fluffy on the inside. The aroma of not only yakitori, but also seared dishes and a la carte dishes is exceptional.

Milky Queen x Earthen Pot Luxury Rice

Milky Queen rice cooked in an earthenware pot, served at lunchtime and at set menus in the evening, boasts sweetness and a chunky texture. It goes great with charcoal-grilled chicken, fried chicken, and eel skewers.
